Bulk water, light brine and warm solutions on a wide pad

The duties that suit a 1.35 wall are the everyday bulk ones: process and makeup water held warm, a reclaimed water or rainwater buffer on an open pad where a black wall keeps anything from growing, a light treatment solution at a plant, a wash water reservoir. The cross-linked resin and its 140 F limit are what you are buying; the rating is deliberately modest. If the liquid is a concentrate or a dense fertilizer solution, step up to a heavier wall rather than running this one near its limit. A rotationally moulded floor bears on its whole floor, so the full load lands on the 143 inch circle; engineer the slab to our concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact, inside containment sized to the tank where the liquid is regulated. What to check before you buy

1. The density. 1.35 is a limit, and a substitution nobody wrote down is the quickest way past it. Write the specific gravity next to the liquid's name on the wall, and tell us before you order if it is close.
2. The outlet. This page lists the manway, not a bottom fitting. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you need and we will confirm what this tank accepts before anything is cut. The base fitting sits on its own support off the pad with a flexible connector to hard pipe.
3. The manway and the vent. 18 inch threaded and vented, 179 inches above the pad: a fixed platform with a rail and a gate or a caged ladder to a landing. Size the vent to the delivery pump, land a permanent fill line at the manway with a dip tube to the floor, and run the vent outdoors on anything that fumes.

Snyder also lists the 1.35 rating in another 10,500 gallon shell: the 10500 gallon 1.35 SG vertical tank 5330000N29. The tank ships at freight class 300, 143 by 143 by 179 inches, 2,500 lb, from Snyder's plant at Chowchilla, California, on an open deck as a permitted wide load, so a West Coast pad is on a short lane and anything east should be priced rather than assumed. Put your ZIP into the freight cost estimator and walk the route in before the order. The listed price is before freight. Unload with a crane or a heavy forklift, straps under the body, never a sling through the manway. Check the part number against 5330300N32 on the bill of lading.
