What the light wall does not change is the ground. At 1.35 the sheet allows 23,352 pounds of contents and plain water puts 16,680 pounds in it, all of that bearing on a 90 inch circle because a rotationally molded floor carries on the whole pad and on nothing else, so the slab is engineered per the concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact, inside a berm sized to the tank where the liquid is regulated. A light tank is also the easiest one in the family for wind to move while it is empty, which is the argument for strapping it to structure the day it lands rather than the week the piping is finished, and for checking the straps after the first storm and the first full summer, since black polyethylene grows in the sun. Black passes no light to the liquid and takes the ultraviolet that ages a white wall; it runs warmer in the sun and hides the level, so the gauge is a sender read at grade. The two heavier ASTM walls molded in the same shape are listed separately, one at 400 pounds and one at the same 340 pounds the C grades carry, each rated as its own sheet says; they are the right buy when the liquid genuinely asks for more rating, and money wasted when it does not. The three C grades are the 340 pound listings in the table, the C34 and the C37-BLACK black and the C26 not. A lid at seven feet four, and a bare number for an outlet

• Access, which sets the whole routine: the 18 inch threaded, vented manway is 88 inches up, seven feet four inches, reached from a platform ladder that is tied off and never from the top of a drum or a pallet. On a light tank there is an extra reason to care, because the ladder must lean on the structure and not on the wall.
• Outlet: the sheet lists the outlet as 12, a bare number in the field with no unit and no fitting named. That is not a pipe size and we will not print it as one; name the liquid and the draw-off you need at order and we confirm what this molding accepts before anything is cut.
• Fill and vent: a dip tube to the floor so the stream does not free-fall and foam, the vent piped outdoors on a liquid that fumes, and the vent sized to the delivery truck's pump.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C. Warranty: 3 year.

At this height the lid is easy enough to reach that the discipline has to come from the schedule rather than the effort. Open it on a plan, take a light to the wall above the liquid line, look at the threads and the gasket seat while you are up, log the date and close it properly. Keep it shut otherwise so vapor stays in and rain stays out, and put the one liquid's name on the wall where the driver reads it from the cab, because on a light wall a delivery of the wrong, denser chemical is not a paperwork problem. Where the site freezes, the trace heat and the insulation go on the draw-off piping and the first valve; the body ices from the top down without harm.

Fertilizer yards, rainwater and water treatment at 2,000 gallons

This is the black 2,000 that goes to a co-op holding a liquid fertilizer solution that has to stay out of the light, to a water or wastewater plant dosing hypochlorite from a low chemical room, to a greenhouse or a nursery running a feed solution, and to a site collecting rainwater that wants a dark tank so nothing grows in it. The cheapest of the shell to move, and how to set it down

Class 400 and 325 pounds shipping weight is what the sheet gives, out of Lincoln, Nebraska or Philippi, West Virginia. It is the lightest tank in its shell and it still prices as a cube, so the shorter lane is the whole saving; put the ZIP into the freight cost estimator and read the listed price as before freight. Unloading is a forklift with long forks or a small crane, straps under the body, never a sling through the manway, and the tank goes straight onto the cured pad rather than onto gravel that it will have to be moved off later. Then the water fill to the manway, held while someone walks the base and the pad edge twice, drained and dried before the chemical arrives. Mark the empty weight on the tank wall with a paint marker; on a shell where three grades look identical, the weight is the only field proof of which one you own. Leave room to walk all the way around it; the side of the tank nobody can see is the side that leaks.
