Snyder Industries 2500 Gallon ASTM XLPE Black Captor Double Wall Tank

Why this combination

Three things set this tank apart, and they work together. The 1.9 specific gravity rating means a liquid up to 1.9 times the weight of water is within the wall's rating. The crosslinked resin carries a 140 F service limit. The black wall keeps light out of the contents. Black on its own soaks up sun, and the higher limit is what makes black sensible on an open yard in a hot state. That is the case for this version: a dense product, stored outdoors, somewhere the summers are long. Water and wastewater plants holding a coagulant or a pH chemical between deliveries, cooling tower and boiler treatment, and industrial dosing all fit. At 122 inches tall on a 102 inch base it is broad and low for 2,500 gallons, so the manway can be reached from a short platform. The base, the height and the real volume

Design the base for the filled tank, not the 1,100 lb empty weight. The full 102 inch circle needs a flat, continuous, level surface; no rails, no shim at an edge. What to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on the inner tank, for a fill hose, a transmitter and inspection.
2. Outlet. Our page lists the manway only. Tell us the draw-off size and height and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank ships with.
3. Level. Black hides the liquid line; plan a gauge or a transmitter.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 300 from Snyder's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, 102 by 102 by 122 inches and 1,100 lb. Have a forklift with long forks or a crane at the receiving end.
