2,500 gallons, 1.5 specific gravity, with a siphon outlet
The Snyder 32194 holds 2,500 gallons of liquid in a white high density linear polyethylene shell 96 inches across and 90 inches tall, weighing 475 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.5, or 31,275 pounds of contents against 20,850 for water, which covers brine, fertilizer and dilute treatment chemicals as well as water. The outlet is a 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting with a siphon tube that draws from the floor through a fitting mounted higher on the wall, so the tank sits flat in a containment basin or on a deck and still empties completely. A 20 inch threaded, vented manway on top.

Wall, base and siphon
Four hundred and seventy-five pounds is a heavy wall for 2,500 gallons on this base, and it is what a tank of dense liquid outdoors for years wants: a stiff shell that resists creep and thermal cycling and carries pipe load at the outlet. Full, it loads a 96 inch circle to 31,275 pounds at the rating, a slab or a compacted base in full contact under the whole floor. The siphon outlet is the detail to notice, because it lets the tank stand on a flat deck or in a basin with no clearance underneath. The 2,500 gallon vertical tank buyers guide compares the class across makers, and the tank sizing calculator and the tank sizing guide settle the volume against the draw or the delivery interval.
Snyder's 2,000 to 2,650 gallon liquid tanks
| Part | Gallons | Diameter x height | Empty weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| 32194 (this tank, 1.5 SG, siphon outlet) | 2,500 | 96 x 90 in | 475 lb |
| 5090000C26 | 2,500 | 90 x 107 in | 450 lb |
| 32166 (1.5 SG, siphon outlet) | 2,000 | 96 x 73 in | 359 lb |
| 5050000C26 | 2,000 | 90 x 88 in | 340 lb |
| 8390000C26 | 2,650 | 102 x 97 in | 510 lb |
The 5090000C26 puts the same 2,500 gallons on a 90 inch base at 107 inches, 17 inches taller and 25 pounds lighter, with a conventional bottom outlet. The 32166 is this tank's smaller sibling, 500 gallons less at 73 inches on the same base with the same siphon outlet and rating. The 8390000C26 goes to 2,650 gallons on a 102 inch base at 97 inches.

Openings as shipped
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting with an internal siphon tube to the floor; a PVC or CPVC adapter, a flexible transition, and a valve supported off the deck. A siphon outlet needs a pump or a prime; it does not gravity-drain below the fitting height.
- Access: 20 inch threaded, vented manway, a short step up on a 90 inch tank.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A white tank shows its level in daylight; in a pump room plan a sender at the outlet. Fill through a dip tube so dense liquid does not splash the lid, keep the vent clear, and prove the siphon draws to the floor on the water test. In a freezing climate a brine or fertilizer solution expands against a wall not designed for ice; house the tank or keep it above freezing.
In service
Liquid fertilizer and brine at a co-op, dilute treatment chemicals at a plant, a basin-mounted reagent tank with no clearance underneath, and bulk water where a heavier wall is wanted outdoors.
Freight and unloading
At 96 inches across the 32194 is oversize freight (NMFC 156600) on a flatbed at a lane rate; the freight cost estimator prices it for your ZIP, and the listed price is before freight. A forklift with long forks sets 475 pounds on the pad. Strap it while empty, water-fill with a hold, and drain through the siphon to prove it before the product goes in. Save the pallet; a tank that ever has to move again is easier to move on it. The first fill is the only cheap time to find a problem, so do it in daylight with someone watching the base.
