The certified 3,000 gallon family
Snyder molds this 96 by 111 inch shell at three ratings, and the empty weight is how they are told apart: 480 pounds at 1.35, 600 at 1.5 and 720 at 1.9. Step up the ratings and the wall adds 120 and then 240 pounds of resin on the same footprint, so a pad and a pipe layout built for one takes any of the three. The 8390000C26 is the low room answer, 14 inches shorter on a 102 inch base, and the 32288 is a plain water tank on the same 96 inch base, 3,500 gallons at 125 inches.

What is fitted

A 3 inch outlet fills a tanker or feeds a transfer pump quickly, which is why this shell is specified where liquid moves in bulk. Strap the empty tank against wind, fill through a dip tube so dense liquid does not splash the lid, and keep the vent clear. A white tank shows its level in daylight; in a pump room plan a sender at the outlet.
Applications
Brine, fertilizer and dilute treatment chemicals at plants that need the certification on file, and water where a heavier wall and the paperwork are wanted; with water in it, a fire reserve sized under NFPA 22 as the fire-water reservoir design guide describes. In a freezing climate a solution expands against a wall not designed for ice; house the tank or keep it above freezing.
