At a little over four feet tall, this tank fits under a mezzanine, in a pump room, beneath a low shed roof or inside a trailer where a taller 300 gallon tank will not stand up. The trade is a 46 inch circle on the floor, so measure the door and the footprint before you order. The crosslinked wall and the 1.9 rating are for dense or demanding liquids: acids, bases, salt brines and treatment chemicals that a standard water tank is not built for, including liquids that arrive warm, up to 140 F. 1. Fittings. No outlet or inlet size is listed for this part number. Tell us the drain, fill and vent sizes and the thread you need, and we will confirm what Snyder supplies with the tank.
2. Rating. 1.9 specific gravity and 140 F. Check the density and the arrival temperature of the liquid, not just its name.
3. Level. A black wall hides the level, so plan a sight tube or a gauge if you need to read it from outside.
4. Drinking water or food. If the tank is for potable service, call us and we will get the current paperwork for this part number before it ships.

At the tailgate, check 8040000N48 against the bill of lading, look the base and the top over for transit damage, and fill it with water the first time so any weep shows as water before chemical goes in.
