Snyder makes several 300 gallon tanks that fit through a door; this is the certified one with the chemical-grade wall and a small threaded lid, for the utility closet or the well house where a dense treatment chemical is dosed. More than twice as tall as it is wide, it is strapped to a wall, because 4,754 pounds on a 35 inch circle at the rating has a high center of gravity, and it stands on a slab or a paver pad in full contact. The N42 is cross-linked polyethylene for hypochlorite and the other oxidizers, and the C26 is the general grade, both at this tank's weight in the same shell. The 8030000N45 is the heavier-walled 300 on a 33 inch base, 12 inches taller. The 1013000C26 holds 290 gallons on a 36 inch base 10 inches shorter, and the 1008200C26 lays 330 gallons down to 50 inches on a 47 inch base.

Openings as shipped
- Access: 8 inch threaded lid, 82 inches up; filled by hose or tote pump through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes.
- Outlet: the bulkhead fitting is chosen for the chemical at order time; a flexible connector to the pump suction, with the valve carried by a bracket rather than the fitting.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

A white 82 inch tank shows its level in daylight; fit a low-level float switch so a pump never runs dry. Set the dosing pump lower than the outlet so gravity primes it, keep the lid closed against vapor loss, and keep the tank out of direct sun where the chemical is light-sensitive. A 35 inch tank fits a standard spill pallet.
In service
