Snyder part number 7421100N51 is a 4000 gallon vertical storage tank in black polyethylene, 120 inches in diameter and 100 inches tall, weighing 1,000 lb empty. Where a wide, low 4000 gallon tank earns its place
At 100 inches tall this tank goes where a taller 4000 gallon tank will not: under a shed roof, inside a low building, or on a site where the fill point has to stay within reach of a short ladder. The trade is footprint. A 120 inch circle needs a pad wider than most doorways and trailers, so measure the set position and the route to it before you order. The 1.9 rating is what you are paying for in the wall. Full at the rating, about 63,400 lb bears on the floor of the tank and through it to the ground. That wants a level, continuous slab with no high spots and no gaps under the edge. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy
- Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. It is the fill point, the inspection opening and the vent, so never seal it airtight or the tank can pull a vacuum when it drains.
- Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the line size, the valve and whether a pump draws from it, and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank carries and what to add.
- Temperature. 120 F is the limit. Liquids stored hot, or a black tank in full sun in a hot climate with a warm liquid, need that figure checked against the working temperature.

Set it level on the finished pad, fill it with water first and watch the manway and base for a day before it carries anything else.
