This is the 810 lb standard wall of this shell, rated 1.5, and for process and rinse water at a manufacturing plant, wash water at a truck or equipment wash, a light dosing solution at a small water or wastewater system, a soap or surfactant at a food plant, or bulk water drawn down between fills, that is the correct buy. What you get for the lighter shell is easier handling: 810 lb is a forklift and two people rather than a crane. What does not get lighter is the pad. Full, it still carries over 33,360 lb across a 120 inch circle, borne by a rotationally moulded floor across the whole base, and a low corner in that slab takes a large share of the load; engineer it, level and in full contact, per the concrete pad sizing guide. Strapping matters more on a light shell than a heavy one, because an empty 810 lb tank standing 100 inches is the thing the wind finds first. Openings and what to check before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, 100 inches up. The vented lid is the air path on the way in and the way out, so size the vent path to the fill pump and keep a screen on it. Keep the lid latched between fills.
2. Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the liquid, the pipe size and where the connection goes and we will confirm what comes installed and what you add. Put the outlet low and the pump lower so the last inches leave through the pipe instead of becoming a heel, and fit a low-level cutout.
3. Rating. 1.5 specific gravity and 140 F. Heavier or hotter liquids need the heavy duty version of this shell or a different tank; ask us.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 400 from Snyder's Chowchilla, CA plant, 120 x 120 x 100 inches and 810 lb: light freight for the space it takes up, so price the lane before you order. It rides as a wide load, so the yard needs a clear approach and long forks. Unload with straps under the body, never a hook in the manway, and take the shipping straps off before the forks go anywhere near the shell. At the tailgate, check the part number 7421100N40 against the bill of lading before you sign. Fill it with water the first time, hold it, and walk the base looking for a weep at your new connection before the product goes in.
