A wide, short tank for a low roof and a dense liquid

At 120 inches across and 100 inches tall this is a wide, low shape: ten feet of floor and a manway at about eight feet four inches. That suits a building with a low ceiling, a fill line that has to land above the opening, and a crew that would rather work from a short step than a fixed platform. The cost of the shape is footprint. The heavy duty rating is the reason to pick this tank over the standard 7421100N46 in the same shell: brines, concentrates and dense process solutions need the 1.9 wall, while plain water and most fertilizers do not. 1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. It is wide enough for a fill line with a dip tube, a level sender and a hand inside to inspect. Size the vent to the fill pump: the air displaced has to leave as fast as the liquid arrives.
2. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet fitting. Tell us the size and material you need and where the drain lands, and we will confirm with Snyder what comes on the tank and what is added.
3. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) is the service limit. Hot process liquids or a tank in direct summer sun near that limit need a conversation first.
