Outlet and manway

A 2 inch outlet feeds a pressure pump or a dosing pump without starving it, and 75 inches of head keeps the suction flooded. Setting it up

A union and a check valve in the suction line make the pump serviceable without draining the tank, and a photo of the finished setup goes in the log, because the next person to touch it will not be the one who built it.
