Where it goes

Go up on the roof of the chemical building with a tape before you decide anything else, because this shell exists for the site where 145 inches fits and a taller one does not. A fill line, a vent and a platform all want room above the manway. The duty is a dense liquid under cover: a brine or a concentrate at a water or wastewater plant, a heavy process solution on a dosing loop, a fertilizer solution at a co-op that stores under a roof and needs it dark. Once the height works, the pad is the next line: a rotationally moulded floor bears on its whole floor, so the 120 inch circle carries every pound. What to check before you buy

1. The resin. Whether crosslinking is the right resin decision for the chemistry is the subject of when crosslinking matters for chemistry duty; the liquid itself is in our chemical compatibility guide.
2. The outlet. The product data for 7140300N48 names the manway and no base fitting, so the plumbing is a conversation and not an assumption: tell us the liquid, the flow and the pump you already own at order and we confirm what the tank is supplied with before a hole is cut. The first valve rides on its own support with a flexible element to hard pipe, since a column this tall at 1.9 is real static pressure.
3. Pump placement. A pump set below the connection keeps its prime by gravity; a low level float stops it before it draws air.
4. The manway and vent. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 145 inches wants a platform with a rail and a gate, a permanent fill connection, a dip tube to the floor and a vent outdoors on anything that fumes, sized to the delivery pump. Temperature limit: 140 F.

Stand it with straps under the body, never a sling through the manway, onto a cured pad, and get the bands on before the crane is released.
