The right tank when you have floor and not height

Under a roof, in a bay, or anywhere the manway has to be reachable, the 120 inch tank is the one to buy. At 132 inches tall it clears most ceilings with room for the vent and the fill line, and a short platform puts the manway at chest height. The wide base also lowers the center of gravity, so it needs less tie down than a tall tank of the same volume, though every polyethylene tank is strapped before the first fill. The pad carries up to 95,076 lb when the tank is full at the rating, spread over a 120 inch circle; our concrete pad sizing guide covers the slab, which must be level and in full contact with the floor of the tank. Black polyethylene blocks light, so stored water stays clearer and a light sensitive chemical holds its strength. It also runs warmer in the sun and hides the level, so a level sender goes in with the tank.

Water, liquid fertilizer and the common process chemicals polyethylene handles, up to 1.9 times the density of water and no hotter than 120 F. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base. Thread your valve in, put a flexible connector before hard pipe, and support the valve off the pad. Tell us the liquid and we confirm the fitting suits it.
2. Manway. 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through a dip tube to keep foam down and size the vent to the fill pump.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 400 from Snyder's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, or Philippi, West Virginia, whichever is nearer, one piece 120 by 120 by 132 inches at 1,050 lb.
