The mistake to avoid
Do not read the 1.9 SG rating as permission to fill it with anything. The rating tells you the tank can structurally carry a dense fluid; it says nothing about chemical compatibility of that fluid with crosslinked polyethylene, or with the hardware you mate to it. Compatibility has to hold for the liquid AND for the gasket and thread-sealant you run on the 18-inch PE threaded manway and the flanged outlet — that is where a structurally sound tank still leaks.
