Where it goes

A 102 inch circle slides behind a building, between two vessels already standing, or down a chemical alley where a wider tank would block the aisle for good: a water plant adding a dense chemical between bolted down vessels, a chemical room with height and no spare floor, a co-op fitting bulk storage behind the warehouse, a dosing skid that wants the head a tall column gives it for free. Density is where this wall earns the money: a brine, a concentrate, a solution well above water weight. Wind decides a slim tank before the chemistry does, so the restraint is designed with the pad: bands to structure high on the shell or anchors cast into the slab. What to check before you buy

2. The outlet. The product data for 7430000N48 names the manway and no base fitting. Give us the liquid and the draw-off at order and we confirm what the tank is supplied with before anything is drilled. A dense liquid standing 188 inches tall is the highest static pressure in this volume class on a base connection, so the support under the first valve and the flexible element to hard pipe are not refinements, they are the install.
3. Pump placement. The head is also the advantage: a pump set below the connection runs flooded much further down the tank than on a squat vessel. Let a low level float, not the pump's own suction, be what stops it.
4. The manway and vent. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 188 inches is a permanent platform with a rail and a gate, a fill connection landed at the manway, a dip tube to the floor and a vent outdoors on anything that fumes, sized to the delivery pump. Temperature limit: 140 F.
