Where it goes

A 120 inch tank at 145 inches tall is the comfortable middle of Snyder's vertical line: a ten foot pad, a manway reached from a modest platform, and a height that fits under a high bay roof or stands in the yard without the tie down worries of the taller tanks. It is still strapped before the first fill, and checked after the first summer, because black polyethylene grows in the sun. Full at the rating it puts up to 81,315 lb on a 120 inch circle, so the slab is engineered per our concrete pad sizing guide, level, and in full contact with the whole tank floor. Black keeps light off the contents, so stored water stays clear through a season and light sensitive liquids keep their strength; it runs warmer than white in the sun, so shade a heat sensitive liquid, and it hides the level, so plan a sender at the pad. A regulated liquid gets a berm sized to the tank.

What goes in it

Water, liquid fertilizer and the common chemicals polyethylene handles, up to 1.5 times the weight of water and no hotter than 120 F. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base, under 145 inches of head when full. Flexible connector before hard pipe, valve supported off the pad. Tell us the liquid so we confirm the fitting suits it.
2. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through a dip tube and size the vent to the delivery pump.
