Where it goes

Indoors, where the level is read by eye: a plant where a glance replaces a gauge, a dosing station where nobody wants to climb to find out what is left. At 66 inches the top is under a low roof, a mezzanine or a rack. What goes in it

A heated cleaning or caustic solution checked on foot, a hot wash-water makeup tank on a line that runs to a schedule, a plating or finishing bath feed that arrives warm and is drawn down visibly through a shift, a boiler or cooling chemistry skid. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 66 inches, a short climb or a low platform. Fill through a dip tube to the floor so a warm liquid does not cascade inside the shell, and size the vent to the fill rate, since a warm liquid breathes harder than a cold one.
2. Outlet. Name the liquid, its working temperature and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base, in what material and with what gasket, before anything is cut. Polyethylene moves with temperature, so every base run rides on its own support with a flexible connector to hard pipe.
