Why XLPE on a water tank

Crosslinked polyethylene is the heavy-duty version of the polyethylene used in most storage tanks. The molding process bonds the polymer chains into a single crosslinked network, which raises impact resistance and environmental stress-crack resistance compared with standard HDPE. The mistake to avoid

Do not size the pad or the tie-downs off the water weight. A 1.9-SG tank invites heavier fluids, and if you fill it with a denser liquid the contents weight climbs toward that 13,469 lb maximum.
