Big volume where the ceiling is the limit

This tank trades height for floor: at 146 inches it fits under many shed roofs, in an equipment bay or beside a building where a tall tank would be the first thing a planning office notices. The manway sits at a height a short fixed ladder reaches. The price of the low profile is floor area. A 142 inch circle takes a lot of slab, and full at the rating the tank puts up to 109,462 lb on it, spread over the whole floor of the tank. What to check before you buy

1. The liquid. Polyethylene suits water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals. The 1.5 rating covers liquids up to one and a half times the weight of water at up to 120 F. If yours is heavier or hotter, call us before you order; for anything other than water, check it in our chemical compatibility guide.
2. The outlet. This page lists the manway, not a bottom fitting. Tell us the pipe size and the liquid and we will confirm what this tank takes before anything is drilled. Tie it to hard pipe with a flexible connector.
3. The manway. 18 inch, threaded and vented. Big enough to fill from a hose or a pump line and to look inside; run the vent where any vapour should go.

At 142 inches across it is wider than a standard load and moves as an oversize shipment, so the route in matters: check the gate width, overhead lines and the turn onto the pad before the truck is booked.
