The outlet and the lid
- Outlet: 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, at the base; tell us the liquid when ordering and the fitting is matched to it, with a flanged transition, a flexible connector to hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad in the material the chemical calls for.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 215 inches up; a platform with a rail for anyone who opens it. The fill goes down a dip tube, the vent goes outdoors on a fuming liquid, and the vent's size is set by the delivery pump.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Eighteen feet of liquid above a 3 inch outlet is the strongest flooded suction in the family, and the outlet drains a full tank in a working shift; put the pump below the outlet, where gravity keeps it primed, and let a low-level float shut it down before it runs dry.
