Height instead of floor

This is the tank for a yard where the pad is fixed at ten feet and the sky is free. At 215 inches the manway is a permanent platform with a rail, the fill line and vent are designed in before the tank arrives, and the level sender is not optional, because nobody is climbing to look. Empty, it is a sail: cable it to structure or deadmen before the first fill, check after the first windy week, and again after the first summer, since black polyethylene grows in the sun. Full at the rating it puts up to 122,598 lb on a 120 inch circle, a heavy load per square foot, so the slab is engineered per our concrete pad sizing guide, level, and in full contact with the whole tank floor. Black keeps light off the contents; it runs warmer than white in the sun, so shade a heat sensitive liquid. A regulated liquid gets a berm sized to the tank.

What goes in it

Water, liquid fertilizer and the common chemicals polyethylene handles, up to 1.5 times the weight of water and not above 120 F. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base, under 215 inches of head when full, so the valve sees real pressure. Flexible connector before hard pipe, valve supported off the pad in a material that suits the liquid. Tell us the liquid so we confirm the fitting.
2. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through a dip tube and size the vent to the delivery pump.
