Where a tall 1350 goes

For a household on a well this is three or four days of normal use and a buffer that lets a slow well fill overnight. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting low in the wall. A 2 inch ball valve threads straight in; follow it with a union so the tank can be disconnected full. Support the valve and the first run of pipe on their own.
2. Inlet. A 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting for the fill line from the well pump, a float valve or a roof drain.
3. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill from a hose, drop a float in, get an arm and a brush inside. It is also the vent.
4. Rating. 1.1 specific gravity, a maximum of 9.18 lb per gallon. Water and rainwater; liquid fertilizers are heavier and need a tank rated 1.5 or higher. Keep contents under 120 F.
