A 1525 gallon low profile black water tank for a low roof
The Norwesco 1525 gallon vertical water storage tank, part number 43808, is a black polyethylene tank 93 inches in diameter and 62 inches tall, weighing 210 lb empty. Why the low one
Pick this shape for the height, and accept the footprint that comes with it. At 62 inches, everything you do to a water tank in a year, filling, setting a float, pulling a sensor, scrubbing the floor, is done from the ground or a single step. The 93 inch circle has to sit on a flat, level, continuous base that carries the tank plus 12,718 lb of water. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting low in the wall. A 2 inch valve threads straight in; add a union after it so the tank can come off the line without draining. Support the valve and pipe on their own.
- Inlet. A 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting for the fill line.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top. On a tank this low it is the easiest manway in the line to reach.
- Rating. 1.1 specific gravity, a maximum of 9.18 lb per gallon. Water and rainwater; liquid fertilizers are heavier and need a tank rated 1.5 or higher. Contents under 120 F.

At 93 inches across the tank is too wide for a van trailer, so it ships as an oversize load on a flatbed at freight class OVS, 200 lb, from Norwesco's Fairfield, Texas plant.
