20000 Gallon Vertical Liquid Storage Tank

Where it goes

Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch 316 stainless steel female NPT bolted fitting, factory installed low in the side wall. Your 3 inch valve threads straight in. Support the valve and the first run of pipe on their own so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Manway. A 22 inch threaded vented manway on top, 242 inches up: fill point, vent and a wide opening for a pump drop, a float or a cleaning crew's gear.

4. Liquid. Water and most liquid fertilizers sit inside the 1.5 specific gravity rating. For heavier liquids Norwesco makes a 1.9 rated version of this shell, listed below.
