Snyder Industries SII-WG73 is a 3,000 gallon vertical water storage tank in green high density linear polyethylene. It is 102 inches in diameter and 93 inches tall and weighs 470 lb empty. It comes with a 24 inch threaded vented manway on top, a 1-1/2 inch PP female NPT bulkhead fitting as the inlet, and a 2 inch PP stainless steel bolted fitting as the outlet. The tank is rated for a specific gravity of 1, so it is for water and liquids no heavier than water. Full, it holds 25,020 lb of water (3,000 x 8.34).

Why the low, wide shape

Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch PP stainless steel bolted fitting. Plan your valve and supply line at 2 inch, and support the pipe so the fitting does not carry its weight.
- Inlet. A 1-1/2 inch PP female NPT bulkhead fitting for a downspout line, a well pump line or a float valve.
- Manway. A 24 inch threaded vented manway on top: wide enough to reach in and clean, to drop in a pump or a float, and to fill from a water truck hose. Keep the vent screened.
