The tall way to store 3,000 gallons

We list more than one 3,000 gallon green tank under the same name, so go by the part number. SII-WG70P is 90 inches across and 125 inches tall, so it puts the volume into height and needs a smaller pad. That suits a narrow side yard, a spot between buildings, or a pad that is already poured. The height also adds a little pressure at the outlet for gravity feed. Check overhead before you order: eaves, power lines and tree limbs all need clearance above 125 inches, and someone has to reach the manway on top, so plan a ladder or a fill line.

Typical uses are a well water reserve for a house or barn, rainwater storage, livestock and irrigation water, and a rural fire water supply. 1. Outlet. A 2 inch PP female NPT bulkhead fitting. A 2 inch male threaded valve, nipple or hose adapter goes straight in; support the pipe so the fitting carries water, not hardware.
2. Inlet. A 1-1/2 inch PP female NPT bulkhead fitting for a well pump line, a downspout line or a float valve.
3. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top for filling, inspection and cleaning. Keep the vent screened and clear.
