Why a double wall tank
A double wall tank is a tank inside a tank. The inner vessel holds the chemical; the outer one catches it if the inner wall or a fitting ever leaks, so the containment comes with the tank instead of being poured around it. That saves floor space and a concrete dike, keeps rainwater out of the containment on an outdoor site, and lets a leak be seen in the space between the walls before it reaches the ground. For a water or wastewater plant storing sodium hypochlorite in bulk, it is a practical way to meet a containment requirement on a tight site.
