Where a doorway tank goes

What goes in it

Water first: stored, collected or carried. Polyethylene also handles many common liquids, and the 1.5 rating covers anything up to one and a half times the weight of water, but a tank sold as a water storage tank is best kept to water and the mild solutions a greenhouse or a workshop uses. Keep the contents under 120 F and the tank out of direct freezing where you can; a full tank indoors is the easy case. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 1.25 inch outlet low on the tank. Tell us the valve or the pump you are connecting and we will confirm the fitting type before the order ships, so the adapter is right the first time.
2. Lid. An 8 inch lid on top, large enough to fill from a hose or a bucket and to drop a float switch or a pump intake through.
