Norwesco 1500 Gallon Black Heavy Duty Vertical Storage Tank

Where it goes and what it holds

At 64 inches across, this tank fits where wider 1500 gallon tanks do not: beside a barn wall, inside a pump house, in a fenced chemical yard or in the corner of a pole barn. The price of the small footprint is height, so check the clear height above the pad before you order; the manway sits at the top of 116 inches and someone has to reach it. The heavy duty wall is for liquids heavier than water, a fertilizer or chemical feed tank in a greenhouse, a pesticide mix station or a treatment plant, and for buyers who want the longer warranty on a tank that sits full year round. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the wall. Your valve, camlock or pump suction threads straight in. Support the valve and the first length of pipe within a foot of the wall so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill from a hose, drop a float or a level sensor in, and get a hand and a brush inside to clean. Leave the vent clear.
3. Extra ports. Only the one outlet comes installed. A second draw, a recirculation return or an overflow means extra bulkhead fittings; tell us when you order and we quote them with the tank.
