The stand and the floor

The poly stand is what makes a cone bottom tank this size practical: it carries the cone, lifts the outlet for a valve and a pump inlet, and does it without the welded steel frame a heavy duty tank needs. Full of water the assembly puts well over twelve tons on a 96 inch circle of floor, so this goes on a designed concrete pad, flat and level, with no joint or drain under the stand. What goes in it

Water, fertilizer solutions and the treatment and process chemicals that polyethylene handles at up to 1.5 specific gravity. Check the liquid in our chemical compatibility guide before the first fill; the entries bulk cone tank buyers ask about most are sodium hypochlorite, sulfuric acid, ferric chloride, phosphoric acid and urea solution. For liquids heavier than 1.5 times water, the heavy duty version is listed below. Nothing hotter than 120 F should go in. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. 2 inch, at the bottom of the cone. Fit the valve before the first fill and support the valve and the first length of pipe on their own so the cone carries liquid, not hardware. If you need a larger outlet, ask before the tank ships.
2. Lid. A 16 inch lid on top: fill, vent, level sensor and inspection all go through or beside it.

This is an oversize load. It ships as OVS freight under NMFC 156600-9267 from Norwesco's St. Bonifacius, Minnesota plant, and the shipping size is 134 by 96 by 96 inches at 1000 lb. The listed price is before freight; the freight cost estimator gives the lane cost to your ZIP, or request a written quote. Unloading needs a forklift or a crew with straps, so have that ready before the truck arrives. Set the stand first and check it with a level across both diagonals, then seat the tank and turn it so the outlet points where the pipe runs. At the tailgate, check 44951 against the bill of lading, look at the cone tip and the stand for transit damage, and fill with water the first time before it carries anything else.
