On a truck, a trailer or the ground
At 68 by 38 inches the tank fits across a full size pickup bed or along a utility trailer, and at 43 inches tall it clears most tonneau rails and headache racks only when the bed is open, so measure the bed before you order. Full, it weighs close to 2,800 lb with water and more with fertilizer, so the vehicle's payload rating, not the tank, is usually the limit. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles are the normal loads. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the end wall. Your valve, camlock or hose adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: wide enough to fill from a hose or a pump, to drop a float in, and to get a hand and a brush inside to clean.
