Several heavier chemistries - Ethylene Glycol, Ferric Chloride, Ferric Sulfate, Hydrochloric Acid, Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Peracetic Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Polyaluminum Chloride, Potassium Carbonate, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bisulfate, Sodium Bisulfite, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Thiosulfate, Sulfuric Acid, and Zinc Orthophosphate - require a 1.9 specific gravity tank, not this 1.5 unit. If your product is on that list, step up to the 1.9 SG Norwesco horizontal leg tank and match the heavier shell to your chemistry. Several of those also call for Viton or Aflas gaskets instead of EPDM, so match the elastomer to the chemical on the chemical compatibility chart.
