At the 1.5 SG rating this tank suits acetic acid (60%), aluminum sulfate (50%), calcium chloride (40%), DEF (32.5%), ferrous sulfate (20%), magnesium chloride (30%), sodium carbonate (30%), urea solution (50%), and ozonated water (up to 10 PPM). Most of these run on PVC or PP fittings with EPDM gaskets; DEF calls for 316SS fittings with EPDM.
Some chemicals need a higher-SG tank than this 1.5 rating and should not go in this one — step up to a 1.9 SG-rated Norwesco tank instead. Those include ethylene glycol, ferric chloride, ferric sulfate, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrogen peroxide, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hypochlorite, and peracetic acid.
