If the constraint is the height of the chemical building, the 169 inch tanks win; if it is the density of the liquid, this one does.

A manway and a lid, and no outlet size

• Outlet: the sheet lists the outlet as 1 Manway / Lid. No bottom fitting diameter, material, thread or gasket appears anywhere on it, so the draw-off is specified at order once we know the liquid and the pipe size you are tying into. We print no size the sheet does not carry.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway on the top head, 179 inches up, which means fixed access and a rail rather than a portable ladder; a dip tube to the floor for the fill, and the vent run outdoors on a liquid that fumes and sized to the delivery pump.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

Because the sheet names no base fitting, sequence the job the other way round from usual: specify the draw-off with the order, then design the pipe run to what is actually landing on the tank, and do not pre-buy a valve. Whatever the fitting turns out to be, the rules below it do not change. The connector between the tank and hard pipe is flexible so thermal movement and pump vibration stay out of the wall. The first valve rides on its own support off the pad. A transfer pump sits below the outlet where gravity primes it, with a low level float to stop it before it draws air.
