What it is for

What to check before you buy
- The liquid. Water is well inside this wall. For anything heavier than 1.5 times water, or warmer than 120 F in service, you need a heavier wall; call us.
- The outlet. This page lists the manway, not a bottom fitting. Tell us what you are piping to and the size of the line, and we will confirm the fitting this tank takes before you buy valves or pipe.
- The manway. 18 inch threaded and vented, 179 inches up. Filling and inspection mean a fixed ladder or platform, not a step ladder. Keep the lid shut between fills so nothing gets in.
- The level. You cannot see the level through a black wall. Plan a gauge you can read from the ground.
