The Snyder Industries 120 Gallon Vertical Double Wall Waste Oil Tank is a self-contained primary-plus-secondary system built for indoor and outdoor used-oil collection, waste-fluid storage, and spill-contained chemical service where a separate berm or dike is impractical. The yellow polyethylene tank stands 51 inches tall on a 34 x 34 inch footprint, so the entire double wall assembly fits inside a tight mechanical room, shop bay, or fluid-handling station while the integrated outer wall holds spill containment without a poured curb. Will it work for your fluid and your space

This 120 gallon Snyder ships with a 2-inch bulkhead fitting (Banjo TF220PE) and a 14-inch hinged, lockable polypropylene manway, so you get a secured top opening for filling, sampling, and access right out of the box. Plan your loads against weight, not just volume: filled with water this tank carries about 1,001 pounds, and at its 1.5 specific gravity rating it is engineered for contents up to roughly 1,501 pounds. That means your slab or floor needs to carry about 1,500 pounds on a 34 x 34 inch footprint, roughly 190 pounds per square foot, a number worth handing to your structural reviewer before you set the tank. Chemical compatibility

This tank is molded polyethylene with a 1.5 specific gravity rating. The resin is recorded as HDLPE but flagged as unconfirmed, so verify HDLPE versus crosslinked (XLPE) construction with us before committing this tank to chemical service. At the 1.5 SG rating, the OEM chemical-resistance chart supports the following, always per the chart's concentration and temperature notes: Acetic Acid at 60% (PP/PVC fittings), Aluminum Sulfate at 50% (PVC), Calcium Chloride at 40% (PVC), DEF at 32.5% (316SS fittings), Ferrous Sulfate at 20% (PVC), Magnesium Chloride at 30% (PVC), Sodium Carbonate at 30% (PVC), Urea Solution at 50% (PP/PVC), and Ozonated Water up to 10 PPM (PVC). The convenient part for sealing: every chemical on this 1.5 SG list uses EPDM gaskets, so one EPDM seal kit covers the whole compatible set. The stock PP manway already matches the chart's fitting recommendations for most of these, but the 2-inch Banjo bulkhead is the fitting to verify or swap for your fluid, since the chart calls for PVC on most chemistries and 316SS on DEF. The 1.5 SG mistake to avoid

The most common error on a double wall tank like this is overrunning the specific gravity. This 1.5 SG wall is correct for waste oil and the chemicals above, but several heavier chemistries require a 1.9 specific gravity tank, not this one. Storing Sulfuric Acid (CPVC fittings, Viton gaskets), Hydrochloric Acid (PVC, Viton), Phosphoric Acid (PVC, Viton), Sodium Hypochlorite (PVC, Viton), Hydrogen Peroxide (PVC, Viton), Ferric Chloride (PVC, EPDM), Ethylene Glycol (PVC, EPDM), Potassium Hydroxide (PVC, EPDM), Peracetic Acid (316SS, Aflas), or Polyaluminum Chloride (PVC, EPDM)? You need the 1.9 specific gravity version of this Snyder double-wall platform, not this 1.5 SG tank. Note that the seal kit escalates too: several of those heavier acids and oxidizers call for Viton rather than EPDM, and Peracetic Acid needs Aflas, so it is a different wall and a different gasket.
