Why double wall, and why yellow

A used-oil drum in a corner of the shop is a spill waiting for a forklift. How it is used

• Fill: 12 inch hinged, lockable lid with a strainer basket; pour from a drain pan or a caddy, and the screen catches the solids.
• Empty: 2 inch male camlock on an internal draw pipe; the hauler's suction hose couples in seconds and the pipe draws from the bottom.
• Rating: 1.5 specific gravity, 1,501 pounds of contents at that density, with room for used oil at any temperature a shop sees.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C; do not pour hot drained oil straight from an engine that has just been run at highway temperature.
