Where it goes

If the liquid is heavier than water, the lighter grade is the wrong buy at any price; if the liquid is water or close to it, you are paying for wall you will never load, and the lighter grade holds the same 1,300 gallons in the same footprint. Once the grade is settled the site work is the same: full of water the shell carries 10,842 lb and at the rating 20,600, every pound on a 72 inch circle, so pour the slab to our concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact. Band it to structure the day it lands and look at the bands after the first storm. Openings and fittings

1. Manway and vent. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 87 inches: platform work, with a permanent fill connection at the rim. The vent has to pass air out at least as fast as the truck pumps liquid in. Fill down a dip tube to the floor, and leave freeboard for thermal expansion at the 140 F limit rather than gauging by how close the level is to the manway.
2. Outlet. Name the chemical and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base, in what material and with what gasket, before anything is drilled. The first valve sits on its own support and never hangs on the shell, with a flexible connector to hard pipe; a transfer pump goes below the take-off with a low-level float.
