On a squat tank the ceiling is the reason and the pad is the job

At 77 inches the shell leaves a fill line and a vent real room under a beam, and it puts the manway within reach of a short platform. The cost is floor: walk the route in from the dock with a tape before the order. The load on that circle is the largest of the two figures above, 23,769 lb at the 1.9 rating, and a rotationally moulded floor bears on its whole floor, so a slab with one low corner puts the weight on that corner. Pour it level and in full contact, engineered for the bearing pressure, inside a berm where the liquid is regulated. Band the empty tank to structure or to slab anchors the day it lands. Black keeps light out of the liquid; it also hides the level, so a sender and a readout belong in the install. What to check before you buy

1. The chemistry. This wall is high density linear polyethylene, not cross-linked. It suits water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals, and the 1.9 rating covers dense solutions. 2. The outlet. This page lists the manway, not a bottom fitting. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off arrangement and we will confirm what this tank accepts, in what material and with what gasket, before anything is drilled.
3. The manway. 18 inch threaded and vented at 77 inches. The height is easy and the width is not: the manway sits near the middle of an 89 inch top, so access means a platform that puts a person over the tank with a rail and a gate, not a ladder leaned against the side. Land a permanent fill connection there with a dip tube to the floor.

Whatever is plumbed at the base sits on its own stand off the pad with a flexible connector to hard pipe. The tank ships LTL at freight class 300, 89 by 89 by 77 inches, 400 lb, from Snyder's plant at Chowchilla, California or Lincoln, Nebraska. At 89 inches across it is a wide parcel the carrier handles differently from a compact one, so price the lane to your ZIP in the freight cost estimator before the order is cut; the listed price is before freight. Unload with a forklift whose forks clear the base, straps under the body, never a sling through the manway. Check the part number against 5990300N51 on the bill of lading. Fill it to the manway with water and walk the whole circumference while it stands, because on a tank this wide a pad fault shows at the edge first.
