Water and lighter liquids, in a balanced shape
This is a general storage tank. The 1.5 rating covers water of every kind and liquids up to one and a half times the weight of water, including many liquid fertilizers and dilute solutions, where polyethylene suits them. Check anything other than water in our chemical compatibility guide, and call us if the liquid runs heavier than 1.5; Snyder makes a heavy duty wall in this shape for that.
The 72 by 119 inch shape keeps the floor space and the height both moderate, so it suits a pump house, a shop corner or a pad beside a barn. Measure the ceiling and the clearance you need above the manway, and the path from the truck to the pad.

Openings, and what to confirm before you buy
- Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, for filling, venting and inspection. Leave the vent open so the tank breathes as it fills and drains.
- Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the pipe size and how the liquid leaves the tank, and we will confirm with Snyder what is fitted and what to add.
- Level. You cannot see the liquid through a black wall, so plan a gauge or a sensor.
