A short, stout tank for dense liquids
At 88 inches tall the manway is within reach of a step ladder, and the tank fits inside a shop, a pump house or a chemical room with a modest ceiling. The 90 inch base is wider than the tank is tall, which keeps it stable. The 1.9 wall is for liquids nearly twice as heavy as water: road brine and salt solutions, calcium chloride, heavy liquid fertilizers, and the water treatment chemicals polyethylene handles. - Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top for filling, venting and inspection. Keep the vent clear.
- Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the line size, the valve and the liquid, and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank carries. Fitting and gasket materials are chosen against the liquid.
- Temperature. 120 F is the limit for the wall. Ask before storing a dense liquid that is held or arrives warm.
