Where a low 2000 gallon tank fits
This is a squat tank. At 84 inches tall it slides under a carport, a lean-to or a low pump house roof, and the manway is close enough to the ground that filling and checking the level do not need a tall ladder. The 96 inch circle is the price of that height, so clear a pad at least that wide plus working room, and check the gate and the path from the truck before the tank arrives.
The 1.5 rating suits water of every kind: well, rain, livestock, wash-down and irrigation water. It also covers liquids up to one and a half times as heavy as water, which takes in many liquid fertilizers and dilute solutions, provided polyethylene suits them. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy
- Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through it, inspect through it, and let it breathe; a tank drawn down with the vent blocked can pull in.
- Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the line size, the valve and whether the feed is gravity or pump, and we will confirm with Snyder what comes fitted and what to add.
