The lowest of Snyder's 2000 gallon shells

Seven feet to the manway is the lowest Snyder goes at this volume, and the trade is an eight foot circle of floor. That shape clears a ceiling that stops every taller 2000 gallon tank, the fill line and vent still land above the opening, and the manway opens from the floor. Snyder also moulds 2000 gallons in a narrower, taller shell for sites where floor is the constraint; this one is for sites where height is. The heavy duty wall is for the liquid: brines, concentrates and dense process solutions up to 1.9 specific gravity. Water and fertilizer do not need it, and the standard 1.5 rated version of this shell, which we also list, is the lighter honest buy for those. A wide low tank barely notices wind, which is exactly why people skip the anchors; fit them anyway while the tank is empty. At the rated density the slab carries up to 31,692 lb over an eight foot circle, bearing on the whole floor, so the pad must be level and in full contact under the entire footprint, and bermed where the liquid is regulated. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Fill through it with a dip tube so a delivery does not free fall, and size the vent to the delivery pump: a wide shell takes a tanker faster than people expect.
2. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet fitting. Tell us the drain size, material and direction and we will confirm with Snyder what ships on the tank.
3. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) is the service limit. Hot process streams need a conversation first.
