Pick the N46 for the resin, not the weight

Breathing room: the vent, the fill and the shoulder

• Vent and fill: an 18 inch threaded, vented manway at seven feet four inches, opened from a step. The lid vent breathes a gravity fill and a small transfer pump; a tanker pump moves air out faster than the lid vent passes it, so on pumped deliveries the vent is sized to the pump or the manway is opened for the fill with someone standing at it. Screen the vent, and run it outdoors on a liquid that fumes.
• Headspace: fill to the shoulder. Hypochlorite gives off gas as it ages and expands as it warms, and the headspace takes both; the band of wall above the liquid line gets a light at every opening.

Seven feet of head is modest, so the pump on this tank sits below the outlet where gravity primes it, with a low-level float so it never draws air.
