A square plan on the rack and on the floor
The reason to buy this tote is that it does not hang over anything. At 45.75 inches square it fits the tote position most plants have already laid out, it goes into a rack bay either way round, and it leaves the same clearance on every side when you plan an aisle. A floor position for one of these is a floor position for any of them. Set it on a flat, continuous, level surface that carries the whole square: rack beams sized for the plan, a solid deck or a slab, never two pallets or blocks under the corners. At 188 lb empty it is a pallet jack or fork job rather than a two-person lift, and full of water it is over 1,800 lb, which is a real load for a rack beam pair that was rated for drums; check the rack's own rating before anything goes up. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the common treatment chemicals polyethylene handles are the normal loads, up to 1.9 times the weight of water. Black keeps light out of the contents, which slows algae in water and protects light sensitive liquids.
