Pay for the wall you need
Snyder builds this 90 by 127 inch shell in more than one wall rating. The 1.35 rating makes sense when the tank holds water: a rural home supply, livestock water, irrigation or wash water, or rainwater off a roof. Water weighs 1.0 times itself, so there is real headroom under 1.35, and a lighter tank is easier to move into place. What it is not for is a dense liquid. Brines, salt solutions and heavy fertilizer blends can exceed 1.35, and they belong in one of the heavier rated versions of this shell, which we also list. What to confirm before you buy
- Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, for filling, venting and cleaning. Keep the vent open whenever the tank fills or drains.
- Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the line size and how you take water out, and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank carries.
- Restraint. A light, empty tank 127 inches tall moves in a strong wind. Strap or anchor it to the slab or to structure before it stands empty outdoors.

Unload with straps under the base or a few people guiding it, never by the manway. Set it on the finished pad, fill it with water first and check the base and manway over a day.
