The standard rating with containment

The 1.5 rating is what defines this tank. It covers liquids up to one and a half times the weight of water: water itself, most liquid fertilizers and many dilute treatment chemicals. Design the pad for the loaded tank, not the 1,400 lb that comes off the truck. Set it on a flat, continuous, level surface that carries the whole 102 inch base. At 142 inches tall, plan a fixed fill line or a platform for the manway, and check overhead clearance on the route in. What to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on the inner tank, for fill, level instruments and inspection.
2. Outlet. Our page lists the manway only. Tell us the draw-off position and size and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank ships with.
3. Level. You will not see the liquid line through black; plan a gauge or a transmitter.
