Snyder Industries 3000 Gallon Black Vertical Water Storage Tank

Twelve and a half tons of water on a 102 inch circle

At 96 inches tall this is the 3000 gallon tank for a barn, a pump house, a lean-to or a basement walkout where a taller tank will not go in or will not clear the beams, and its 102 inch base is the trade for that height. The base carries 25,020 lb of water and has to be flat, continuous and free of stones under the whole circle; a cracked or sloped slab is the usual cause of a stressed bottom, so call us if the pad is in question. Ports and access

1. Inlet. A 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting. Your fill line or pump discharge threads straight into it.
2. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the wall. Your valve or hose adapter threads into it; support the valve and the first length of pipe so the fitting carries water, not hardware.
3. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top: wide enough to fill from a hose, drop a float or a submersible pump in, and get a brush inside to clean. At 96 inches it is a step ladder job, not a scaffold.

At the tailgate, check WB70 against the bill of lading, look over the base and both fittings for transit damage, and fill it with water and let it stand before you connect anything, watching the fittings and the pad for the first day.
