Twelve and a half tons of water on a seven and a half foot circle
Full, the WB70P puts 25,020 pounds on a 90 inch circle, and a rotationally molded floor bears on the whole pad, so the pad is what matters: a compacted, screeded gravel base or a slab in full contact, with the empty tank strapped against wind, because a black tank in the sun expands and moves a little every day. The 5130000 and 8160000 tanks are the liquid storage shells on this base 2 inches taller, rated for brine and chemical, the C37-BLACK the black one among them; this water tank carries less resin than any of them because water is all it is built for. The 8390000C26 lays 2,650 gallons down to 97 inches on a 102 inch base, and the 32288 is the other water tank at 3,500 gallons on a 96 inch base at this height.

The three openings
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting.
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, at the base; a flexible connector between the fitting and hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad. For a fire reserve a larger outlet is specified at order.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 125 inches up, reached from a short platform.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A 2 inch outlet feeds a pressure pump or a fire pump's suction without starving it, and ten feet of water above it gives the pump a flooded suction to the last few inches. A black wall shows no level, so fit a sender read at ground level or a sight tube off the outlet, and a float switch for low level protects the pump. Where it freezes, insulate or drain the outlet valve and the first length of pipe; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
