Outlet and manway

• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway at chest height; a dip tube takes the fill from a hose or tote pump; a fuming liquid gets a vent line to the outside.
• Outlet: order the bulkhead fitting in the material the chemical calls for; a short flexible section to the pump, and the valve supported on its own bracket.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

The opaque wall means no reading the level by eye: a sight tube on the outlet or a float switch does it, and a low-level float switch protects the pump. Mount the dosing pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity and keep the manway closed against vapor loss; the wall already keeps the light out. A 47 inch tank fits a standard spill pallet.
