Most buyers of a 3600 gallon cone want a lot of liquid that comes out completely: process and rinse water, liquid fertilizer bought by the load, settling tanks where grit or sludge has to leave with the drain, and wash water that gets recycled. A flat bottom tank leaves a heel; a cone sends everything to the outlet at the tip.

The 1.5 rating covers water and liquids up to one and a half times its weight, which takes in most fertilizer solutions and many common liquids. If yours is heavier, the heavy duty version of this same 102 inch tank, which we also list, carries a 1.9 rating. Buying the heavier wall for water adds cost and nothing else.

What to check before you buy

1. Stand and ground. A cone bottom tank cannot sit on the ground, and no stand is named with this part number. Full of water, this one puts 15 tons on its stand feet. 2. Headroom. 125 inches is the tank alone. Add the stand and working room above the manway, and measure from the floor to the lowest thing overhead.
3. Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the valve or camlock size you want at the cone tip and we will confirm it with Snyder.
